An Assistant Account Executive is a client-driven role, with responsibilities focusing mainly on the servicing of accounts and daily deliverables. You’ll be responsible for acting as a liaison between the client and agency staff to coordinate their marketing communications and branding needs.

 

Associate Account Executives work closely with their Account Manager at the agency and clients on a daily basis. They aid and support Account Managers by managing administrative work, ensuring that everything is completed on time and on budget. 

 

As an Associate Account Executive at DCS Co. you will report to an Account Director, the Executive Leadership Team, and Principals of the Agency.

Typical Work Activities

Associate Account Executives collect and prepare detailed, insightful, and accurate information to aid creative development in developing marketing communications and branding campaigns. Tasks typically involve:

  • Preparing project reports for Account Managers
  • Coordinating schedules and meetings with agency departments
  • Meeting with clients to discuss and identify their advertising needs;
  • Working with agency colleagues to craft Job Requests that will be used to meet the client's brief and budget;
  • Presenting, alongside agency colleagues (particularly the Account Supervisor), the solutions and budgets to the client;
  • Working with the Account Director to brief media, creative, research staff, and assisting with the creation of marketing strategies;
  • Acting as the link between, the client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;
  • Communicating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns;
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs, and invoicing clients;
  • Writing conference reports after meetings with clients
  • Helping to maintain a positive image and reinforce DCSCo’s values and culture at all times
